Squash 101

Participants will learn how to hit a forehand shot. Equipment will be provided by the club. Non-marking running shoes are required. A brief overview of the game will be given at the end of the practice session. The experience will be fun and energetic. Maximum 4 participants per session.  Instructor – Darnley Holder, Pro.

Dexter

If you’re looking for a challenge, you’ve come to the right place. It’s no more “Mr. Nice Guy” you’re introduced to Howard’s alter-ego Dexter. Follow ‘Dexter’ through rigorous step/circuit which is guaranteed to get you sweating as you work nearly every muscle in the body, including your heart! You can expect to be working with free weights as well as other various resistance apparatus.

Body Works & Abs

Start your week off on the right foot and put your body to work. This class offers a full body toning workout. Awaken your muscles from head to toe in a fun, entertaining and upbeat environment. Monday mornings never felt this good!

Classic Rock Ride

Rock out to your favorite rock & roll classics while you sweat. Kathy will motivate and guide you along as you revisit all your old favorites. This class with help you build a great cardiovascular foundation and strengthen several muscle groups simultaneously. Start your day with this class and you’ll be ready to tackle the rest of your day with lots of positive energy.

Yoga Essentials

A workout for your body, mind & spirit. A flowing and evolving practice that develops core strength and flexibility while finding balance and alignment. This class is a multi-level class that provides modifications as required.

 

Power Hour

Push yourself to the max. Take your fitness to the next level every Monday afternoon and see the benefits. Sweat and tone your body as you conquer steep peaks and race through long flats. Your lunch break never felt this good!

 

Ab Express & Stretch

Blast your abs with this intense 30 minute workout and a flatter stomach and stronger core are sure to follow. Add this class to your regular exercise routine and you’ll never have to worry whether or not you’re working your midsection hard enough. Emphasis is put on proper breathing during the workout and proper stretching afterwards.

 

Lotus Wave Yoga

Hatha Yoga, practiced for thousands of years is a collection of physical postures and movements called asanas. Combined with mindful breathing it produces a relaxed state that encourages a deepened meditation. Allow yourself to be guided through movements and postures which will deepen your consciousness and self awareness. All levels are welcome.

 

Spin Cycle

Join Julie as she puts you though the “ringer”. Come challenge yourself and add this class to your fitness routine to help attain your personal peak of health and fitness. Julie will work your entire body through a variation of Spinning techniques – endurance, intervals, sprinting, climbing, and jumps. Come energize your body!!

 

Step/Pump

Join Howard as he guides you through an energized, fast paced, step workout. Take a STEP in the right direction toward a healthier you. This class will improve your cardiovascular endurance as well as strengthen your lower body.

 

Pilates

This classic Pilates class is designed to help you develop core strength and gain full control of your body. You will focus on exercises that will condition deep abdominal contractions to carefully maximize core stability, flexibility and strength.  You will leave feeling physically stronger and mentally focused.

 

Power Yoga

(avancée/advanced)

This Ashtanga Yoga class is designed for the experienced yoga-enthusiast. This class allows you to take your mind and your body to the next level of awareness and strength. Allow Steve to challenge your body on a weekly basis as he regularly modifies his classes for an optimal full body workout. You are guaranteed you leave feeling reenergized and ready to face the rest of your day.

 

Step/Circuit

Ritmos

An exotic heart pumping cardio dance based workout that teaches your body and soul to groove to international rhythms. This class is combination of various Latin dance steps which are sure to awaken the body and spirit of anyone who shares the love of dance!

 

Vicious Cycle

This spin class is carefully programmed to coordinate with the cadence of the music. Led by Pam, be prepared to sweat and burn your way up and down hills all while being totally immersed in the music. It’s a great way to improve your cardiovascular health, as well as strengthen several muscle groups simultaneously. Beginners are welcome, but be ready to challenge your mind & body!

 

Shakes & Ladders

Boost your cardio, increase your balance and agility, and strengthen your core. Shakes and Ladders will put you through a non-stop series of exercises which will take your performance in any sport or activity to another level. This is an advanced group fitness class. We do not recommend it for individuals who are currently suffering from knee or ankle injuries.

 

The Wheel Deal

Who said sweating away the pounds couldn’t be fun? Howard brings the same variety and enthusiasm from the aerobics studio to the spin room. This cycling class is an excellent addition to anyone’s workout routine, and will definitely add a bit flare and enjoyment to your day.

Bootcamp

Challenge yourself with a combination of cardio, strength and athletic exercises. A complete circuit workout with a variety of exercises. 

Cardio Blast

Join Raphael on Thursday and Sunday as he guides you through a total body workout. Each week will progressively challenge your level of fitness and gradually take you to new heights. You can expect to see visible results as well as feel stronger and toned.

 

Pedal to the Metal

Come join Sylvain in a 60 minute Spinning class where you’ll hit the road but spare the road rash!  We’ll pedal to the mental with a variety of musical choices (rock n roll, alternative rock, r n b and some pop) we’ll ride up and down hills, hit some good intervals and plenty of sprints. Whether it’s your first time or your an avid cyclist this class can be for you.  There’s no better way to get the heart pumping for 60 minutes. Allowing you to easily burn 600+ calories and ultimately getting you closer to your personal goals!

 

Zumba

Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away.  The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got ZUMBA!

 

Spin/YOGA

The same great energy you love from Kathy’s Classic Rock Ride with an added element. Balance your energy with a Zen yoga stretch in PhysicalPark’s Relaxation room. It is the perfect way to bring down your heart rate and perform proper stretching after a high intensity workout.
