What is Personal Training?
Personal Training can be described as the science of teaching a client how to use their body correctly and efficiently in every action he or she might execute. This includes, but is not limited to weight training and cardiovascular exercise. Personal training is frequently used for advances in Sports Specific Training, Rehabilitation (pre and post-surgery), Stress Management, Weight loss, and General fitness. The best personal training is accomplished in individual sessions to ensure focus is placed on one client at a time.

Where Do I Begin?
Fitness assessment
There are a number of reasons for having a Fitness Assessment. Assessment can provide valuable information on an individual’s current level of fitness and highlight areas that need improvement. Testing can also provide a useful tool in motivation and may provide a method of benchmarking throughout the program.
Measuring fitness is simple; we have a variety of tests to give the client information on body composition, stamina, strength, muscular endurance and flexibility.
Initial assessment, coupled with regular follow up assessments will ensure that you are well on your way to achieving your short and long term goals.
Fitness consultation
This 45-60 minute session is designed to be flexible to the needs of the client. For those people who are new to exercising and would like help knowing how and where to start, consultations provide the best starting point and also act as the first stage of having a tailored exercise plan written.
Fitness Consultations are also relevant for advanced exercisers and athletes who have been struggling to reach their exercise goals or who have become stuck in the same routine.
Personal Training Options
- General Package: These packages are recommended for the general public and individuals who have never worked with a personal trainer and would like to get integrated into the gym.
- Program Design/Sports Specific Program: This package is recommended for individuals who have experience with fitness and who would like to take it to the next level. It is also recommended for individuals who would like to improve their skill in a specific sport or activity.
- Jumpstart Program: This package is recommended for individuals who are looking to be educated in all facets of health and fitness. They will be guided through a complete exercise and eating program to get them started on their wellness journey.
- Lifestyle Training Package: This package is recommended for individuals who are interested in maintaining a comfortable lifestyle through regular fitness training. Receive support and motivation throughout your annual membership.
