Physical Park is proud to announce the acquisition of specialized fitness/rehabilitation equipment which has allowed us to open our doors to a demographic often overlooked by other health centers!
Who stands to benefit from this equipment?
- The aging population(Fall prevention; increase overall strength, etc…)
- Anyone who has suffered neurological injuries(Stroke victims, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, etc…)
- Anyone requiring post injury rehabilitation(Back injury, knee & hip replacements, ankle injury, etc…)
The Equipment
- Sit-To-Stand – This machine provides a safe way to strengthen weight – bearing muscles and increase standing stability and endurance. Early steps can be attempted in all directions, because the machine is mounted on wheels.
- Bungee Mobility Trainer – This machine supports body weight to allow the user to train intensively and safely to improve static and dynamic stability, mobility and weight-bearing ability. The rolling wheels allow for movement in any direction.
- Ankle Trainer – This device will help build strength and control of targeted ankle muscles, even in paretic ankles.
